Palo Verde & Liberia Sightseeing

posted in: Naturaleza, Terrestres | 0

Travel through a beautiful river on a motor boat and discover 12 different types of habitats, including four different species of mangrove trees, aquatic plants and over 150 tree species, like the one from which the Park’s name is taken: Palo Verde, a shrub with leafy branches and a pale green trunk.

Visit the city Liberia, known as the White City due to the white appearance of the gravel terrain on which the city is built. Take the opportunity to learn about its historic adobe and ‘bahareque’ old houses and appreciate this picturesque place, its handcrafts and the nearby stores.

Before returning to the hotel, a quick stop will allow you to enjoy regional live music, observe local pottery and purchase a souvenir to take back home.
